I don't think they had been in opperation since 2006 or so, but they shared an office with Take Back the Night, FMLA, and probably a few others. | comments: 8 comments or Leave a comment |
| | Apparently the parking enforcement fascist likes to go around and make threats to people who challenge his authority. This jackass threatened to call cops and have me arrested for calling him a jackass and proceded to tell me that he knows my name, where I live and would give me a ticket even if I was legally parked to teach me a lesson about fucking with the person and said that he is above the law. I guess since 9/11? its okay to push people around under the ruse of national security and god forbid, we can't have any dissent whatsoever. Anyway if you had a run-in with this person? His badge Number is 019 and the complaint line is 845-255-1332. | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

| I used to bring my corgi into MuddyCup back when they were the one place that were dog friendly, they pretty much changed their policy so they're not so dog friendly now, I found a way I can still bring my dog in without much grief, and it works for any business. just buy a personalized service dog tag to put on their collar, they're easy to get offline, pretty cheap, and if anyone makes a fuss, you can just point to the tag, and they have to let you in. far as the legality goes, they legally can't ask for proof, and really just have to take your word for it, but the tag makes things much easier. there's already a few people in town who've done this, it woks great

| So my landlord has informed us that we are to get rid of all our furniture... even the stuff that was there when we moved in.
So I have a dresser up for grabs, today and tomorrow. 36" wide, 18" deep, 43" high. Four drawers; none of them stick, but the top one is missing a handle on the left side. It's a blond colored wood, with some light green paint on the edged of the drawers; not really noticeable.
The dresser is free, but you'll have to move it down two flights of stairs either today or friday.
Shoot me an email and I'll give you the address: CyhiraethX7(at)yahoo(dot)com
ps: I also have a shelf thing, a nightstand, and a stool up for grabs! | comments: Leave a comment |

Hi, I've been taking care of this kitten for the past 8 months. Originally, one of my friends was supposed to take him by the end of the school year when he moved into an apartment...but that never happened. He gets along with other cats, knows the commands, "come", "no" and sometimes "down", is very playful (he loves socks and playing in the bathtub for some reason), is litterbox trained, loves to snuggle at night and purring...he's the sweetest little thing, and I want him to go to a good nurturing home since my friend cannot take him anymore.
If you or anyone you know is interested email me for more information: staceylascala@gmail.com

| Hi everyone, I'm selling my desktop computer, a Dell Dimension 4600 + 19inch flat screen monitor for 150$. The specs are: Pentium 4 2.40GHz/256MB/40GB I live in the village so you can come by and check it out if you are interested.
I bought this Prust tackhead back in January for 200$ and I'm selling it now for $150. It's a great banjo, an excellent gateway to fretless playing. I'm selling it in order to buy a more expensive fretted banjo (the Prust is currently my only banjo.) The banjo is strung with nylguts. I don't have photos on hand but it looks exactly as Prust advertises them: http://www.chloesgarden.com/Banjos%20on%20Web/Prust%20Banjos/Tackhead.htm I use the banjo in all the songs on on my myspace: www.myspace.com/terrydignon. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| i am looking for a subletter for my unfurnished room in a house in new paltz for the months of june and july. it is in a four bedroom/one bath house literally right across from the college and a half minute walk to town/main street. the house has a kitchen, large living room, dining room area, washer/dryer, large back yard, garage, and driveway, as well as free on-street parking.
you would be sharing the house with 3 female students. this is a perfect location for anyone taking summer classes at new paltz, or anyone looking to live in a really nice house just a moment away from town.
rent is roughly about $550/month including utilities.
the sublet is for june and july, but i am willing to negotiate a further stay into the beginning of august if you are interested or are taking part in a summer session of classes that goes on until then.
please contact me via this message board or through email (preferable) at canino31@newpaltz.edu, if you have any questions.

| We're all graduating and we're helping our landlord find new renters.
Big house on church street, three stories, hardwood floors. Living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room (brand new washer and dryer), tons of parking, big fenced in yard, 1 full and 2 half bathrooms, 3 big rooms (big enough for a couple) and 2 smaller ones.
Super nice land lord although we only met him once, you deal with handyman when there are any problems. Minimum of 4 people, up to 6 can live there, $525/person.
Message me with any questions. | comments: Leave a comment |
| Three bedroom house with A LOT of space. Two living rooms, back deck with large yard, two bathrooms, big kitchen, laundry/dryer in basement.
We are three female students (two of us are a couple and sharing a room). We need someone to fill a spot from May to late August. Rent is $500/month (not including utilities-- shouldn't be too much though, everything is electric)
We are located on Route 208, a 5 minute drive to campus. Very close to campus and beautiful views.
We are hoping that our fourth roommate will be financially responsible and can clean up after themselves. We range from ages 20-23, hopefully you'll fall into a similar age range.
If you are interested or have questions-- please email me at jailer61@newpaltz.edu | comments: Leave a comment |
